An R&B/soul singer-songwriter powerhouse, NariYella started thinking about a career in music at 8 when she sang in her school’s talent show. Since then, NariYella has showcased her talent anywhere she can - performing at amateur night at the famed Apollo Theater, alongside Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge, with her church, in school choirs, at community events and student protests, and in various competitions. In addition to the creative outlet, NariYella gravitates toward the business side of the music industry, currently pursuing a major in vocal performance and a minor in music business, entrepreneurship and technology. Crediting her mom’s leadership and drive, NariYella is deeply committed to perfecting her craft and hopes to positively impact people with her music as well as use it for personal healing.
