Main Content
After getting no chair turns on Season 18, Cassidy has spent the last four years pouring herself into her music. Now, she’s returning to “The Voice” stage stronger than ever. During her first time on the show, she was still finding herself as an artist and grieving the death of her father, who had passed two years earlier. Shortly after he passed, Cassidy packed up and moved to Nashville. She wanted to throw herself into music to honor her dad. Looking back, she says she was running away from her grief. After her Season 18 audition, Cassidy took a year off from gigging to reevaluate and focus on self-care and healing. At the end of 2020, she formed a rock band titled Annie Dukes. She taught herself to play bass guitar and now sings as the band's frontwoman. She now gigs all around the country, performing at SXSW and the Opry Stage, and recently opened for ZZ Top in front of thousands. When Cassidy isn’t performing, she’s camping. She currently lives in a house at an RV park with her mom, who is a manager at the RV park.
