TAMAR DAVIS
Bio
Singing since the age of three, Tamar has been within inches of stardom. Growing up, she was part of the girl group Girls Tyme with Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, but left before they formed Destiny's Child in order to finish school. During her senior year of high school, Tamar performed for President Bill Clinton at the Kennedy Center. She toured with R&B star Tamia after graduating from USC with a degree in music business. In 2006, Tamar wrote a Grammy-nominated song with Prince called "Beautiful, Loved and Blessed," and she currently stars as Diana Ross in the touring cast of Motown: The Musical. After so much opportunity, Tamar was heavily encouraged to audition for The Voice and she hopes to make her dreams come true.
