When he was only 13, Brett's parents divorced and he started acting out. After trying many different options, Brett was sent across the country to boarding school. In a teaching moment, Brett was forced to sing in front of the entire school and, for the first time ever, found his voice. Music became his discipline as he developed his voice, learned guitar and eventually went to college for business. Recently, Brett quit his six-figure job to pursue music full time.
