With an entrepreneurial spirit and vocal talent, Jamai started his own singing telegram business at just 16 years old, showing up at doorsteps to sing for birthdays, anniversaries or broken hearts. Jamai's biggest supporter in music and in life is his grandmother, who raised him after his mother's tragic death. Jamai won his high school talent show and used the prize money to record a demo. Since that talent show, he has released four singles and music videos. In 2015, Jamai toured in China, performing at 75 nightclubs around Shanghai.
