Uli Latukefu plays adult Dwayne on the NBC comedy "Young Rock." Determined and earnest, Dwayne plans to take the WWE by storm, even as his career risks burning out before it begins. Always guided by his own instincts, he makes a bold decision to embrace the hate for his wrestling alter ego - and finds his outspokenness opens unexpected doors far beyond the ring.A graduate of Australia's prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art, Latukefu just finished shooting the upcoming Paramount+ series "Last King of the Cross," alongside Tim Roth and Callan Mulvey. He previously had a role in Netflix's original scripted series "Marco Polo."On the film side, he appears in "Black Adam" alongside Dwayne Johnson, Viola Davis and Pierce Brosnan. Previously, he was shooting the upcoming feature "Black Site," opposite Michelle Monaghan, Jason Clarke and Jai Courtney, in Australia. He will next appear in Searchlight's "Next Goal Wins" for director Taika Waititi, opposite Michael Fassbender and Elisabeth Moss. The comedic adaptation of the 2014 BIFA-winning documentary of the same name follows the perennially losing American Samoa soccer team as they try to turn their luck around under the guidance of their new Dutch coach Thomas Rongen (Fassbender) and qualify for the FIFA World Cup.In 2020, he starred in the heartfelt Kiwi film "The Legend of Baron To'a," which premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival and was released on VOD internationally. Latukefu can also be seen in Ridley Scott's "Alien: Covenant" as well as in Saban Films' "Danger Close."Latukefu has worked steadily in television and film since his drama school graduation and subsequent finalist position for the 2016 Heath Ledger Scholarship. His Australian credits include the award-winning "Devil's Playground," "Sando," "Doctor Doctor," "The End" and "Harrow."On the stage, Latukefu made his off-Broadway debut in "Peter Pan" with the Australia-based Belvoir company at the New Victory Theater in 2013.Latukefu currently resides with his family in Sydney, Australia.
