"If we did a desk piece called 'Seth Does Political Impressions,' it would stink. If we did 'Seth Talks Really Fast,' nobody would like that. But in the body of 'A Closer Look,' we get to layer them all in. Because there's this connective thread of the day's news, there's this momentum to it."
