What to Know About Howie Mandel's Son, Alex Mandel
The AGT Judge passed on his comedic chops to his son.
We've already established that America's Got Talent: All-Stars Judge Howie Mandel and his daughter, Jackelyn Shultz, have an adorable relationship. But what about his son, Alex Mandel?
AGT fans may remember that Mandel opened up about his son during AGT Season 17 following Amanda Mammana's emotional Audition. The singer's story of living with a speech impediment hit close to home for the star.
"My son was a stutterer as a kid," Mandel said. "And this was a big hurdle to get over. So to hear your story, I kinda relate to it... And to watch that journey, from who you are and what you struggle with, to hear the purity today in not only your voice and your song but the words and the story, it was heroic and beautiful. Thank you for doing what you do."
But what more should we know about Alex? Read on to find out.
Who is Howie Mandel's son, Alex Mandel?
Not only does the digital content creator have a knack for entertainment like his dad, it seems that he's also inherited the AGT Judge's sense of humor. Though he's not incredibly active on social media, in the 33-year-old's most recent post from Halloween, he's wearing a police costume and is jokingly arresting Mandel.
"Arresting @HowieMandel for indecent exposure… to germs #NoDeal," he said in a caption.
Alex also has an adorable pup with its very own Instagram account (@HarveyBulldog), and he used to run a popular YouTube account where he'd post prank videos and a series of hilarious skits. If you keep up with Alex on social media, some of his posts will give you insight into some adorable father-son moments.
"I try every day to make my dad proud," he wrote in 2020 for Mandel's birthday. "He’s my mentor, my hero, and my best friend. I never stop learning new lessons from him, and I feel so lucky to have him as a dad. Happy Birthday, Dad. I love you."
Watch Mandel on AGT: All-Stars Mondays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
