"Black Jeopardy" is one of the most iconic sketches in SNL history, and it returned for the show's 50th anniversary special with some heavy-hitters.

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and Peacock, streaming next day on Peacock.

Not only did Tom Hanks appear in the sketch, reprising his iconic Doug, but he was joined by Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, and Eddie Murphy.

The sketch started as all "Black Jeopardy" sketches do. The show's host, played by Kenan Thompson, introduced us to the players (Jones, Morgan, and Murphy) before revealing the "Jeopardy!" categories and beginning the game.

The questions and answers were all top-notch. At one point, the answer Thompson was looking for during the game was Saturday Night Live, and the contestants could not get it, hard as they tried.

"This legendary late night show created some of comedy's biggest stars...It's a sketch comedy show that's been on for a long time," Thompson asked, to which Morgan answered,  "What is In Living Color?"

"What is Showtime at the Apollo?" Murphy asked.

"Come on! Y'all really don't know?" Thompson said, flabbergasted. At this point, Leslie Jones couldn't help but break character as the audience was cracking up.

Chris Rock also made a surprise appearance during the sketch to briefly take over the "Jeopardy" Host duties. (Rock was a cast member on SNL from 1990 to 1993.)

"Black Jeopardy's" revival is just one of many iconic moments that happened during the SNL50 special. Sabrina Carpenter and Paul Simon opened up the show with an atmospheric duet of "Homeward Bound." Carpenter also appeared in a new "Domingo" sketch, which was very fitting giving her song "Espresso's" importance in the lore of the Domingo character.
