Chris Meloni Flexing, Lifting Weights, and Eating Pizza in a Crop Top Is a Must-See
Now there's something you don't see every day!
For Law & Order: Organized Crime fans who have always wondered what Chris Meloni looks like while eating pizza and working out in a crop top, today's your lucky day.
In an April 2 TikTok clip courtesy of Interview Magazine, Meloni nearly bares it all in an upcoming photo shoot for the publication that was filmed and shared for fans everywhere. The actor wears a shirt that gives new meaning to "crop top," eating copious amounts of pizza, and doing one of the more interesting free weight workouts you'll ever see. In other words, it's the literal definition of a must-see video.
Oh, and if Meloni looks especially happy in the clip, it's because he was. He celebrated his 64th birthday the same day the clip was posted. He's never looked better! Meloni looks fantastic regardless of what he's doing, whether posing for a tongue-in-cheek photo shoot or filming some of the most unforgettable scenes in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit history.
(Check out that impressive barbell shoulder press. That is not light weight.)
Keep up the good work, Detective Stabler — 64 looks great on you! And we're sure Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson would agree.
How does Chris Meloni stay in such good shape?
Meloni isn't just blessed with perfect genetics. The star actually has an intense daily workout routine to ensure he's as healthy as humanly possible. He prefers to wake up early and get workouts done first thing in the morning.
"I'm a get-it-done guy," Meloni told Men's Health in 2021. "I get up. I stretch for about 30 minutes. Sometimes I'll even do a bit of yoga before I get into it, and then it's, you know, release the hounds."
In other words, Meloni is not afraid to throw some weight around in the gym! And like many actors, his busy filming days require him to supplement his workouts with healthy dietary choices.
"Workouts are so intense, and in combination with also being at work 14 hours a day, I have to supplement," Meloni explained. "So yeah, I do chocolate protein powders, usually with frozen bananas, and a little bit of filtered coffee."
For lunch, he sticks with his self-dubbed "Meloni Meal," consisting of ground chicken, brown rice, spinach, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. The dish is often Meloni's dinner, too! (Great, now we're hungry.)
