Christopher Meloni Feeding a Turtle Is the Cutest Thing You'll See Today
The Law & Order: Organized Crime star clearly has a soft spot for reptiles!
Christopher Meloni is getting up to some hijinks in between filming Season 4 of Law & Order: Organized Crime.
On January 30, the actor shared a video of himself to Instagram having the cutest interaction with a hungry turtle. In the clip, Meloni eagerly said, "You ready?" to the turtle before feeding it a piece of fruit. Meloni then made the goofiest sound as the turtle took a bite and gave the creature a pat on the head.
Meloni then showed us more snaps from his day, including a poster of an old movie and a close-up of his shoes. See the fun video later down in this post!

Although Meloni plays tough guy Detective Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime, real fans know he's a big softie and family man at heart. The actor has two mini-me children, 22-year-old Sophia and 20-year old Dante, who Meloni frequently posts about spending quality time with.
In a 2014 interview with USA Today, Meloni opened up about how becoming a dad has changed his perception of life. “I think my kids would call me a little crazy," he said. "I’m very physical, very affectionate. I’m also very disciplined and focused on education. That’s one thing that was instilled in me, one place in life where there’s no compromise. What works for me is empowering my kids. I remember not having any power when I was growing up. Power helps kids mature, and it requires critical thinking on their part. They feel engaged in a decision, which makes them feel engaged in the family process."

Then, in a 2022 interview with People, he talked about how Sophia and Dante are different in personalities but similar in the place they have in his heart.
"I always knew I wanted kids, as did my wife," he said. "My mother always used to say to me, 'I've learned so much from you kids,' and I didn't get it. Now I get it. One is more of an old soul. I never used that term until they came out of the womb and I looked in their eyes. I was like, 'Holy cow, look at you. You're here to teach me.' As well as the other one, who's a young soul. It's ever-evolving and a complete fulfillment of my life."
