Listen to Darci Lynne's Badass Cover of The Beatles Classic "Come Together"
The America's Got Talent Season 12 winner made the iconic tune totally her own.
Darci Lynne covered one of The Beatles classics, and totally made it her own.
On October 15, the America's Got Talent Season 12 winner sang an edgy rendition of "Come Together." During her cover, she strummed an acoustic guitar, and when the chorus hit, she made an interesting stylistic choice by changing her voice to a gentler tone while singing the titular lyrics.
"Come together by the Beatles featuring my stairwell," she wrote it a caption of the video.

What to know about "Come Together" by The Beatles
"Come Together" is the first track off of the band's legendary 1969 album Abbey Road. It was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney when Lennon was asked to write a campaign song for politician Timothy Leary when he ran for California governor. The song reached the number 1 position on the Billboard US Hot 100, and in 2010, Rolling Stone listed it as one of the top 10 Beatles songs.
In 2021, Ringo Starr revealed that "Come Together" is his personal favorite Beatles song.

"I think it worked perfectly with the band and the song, and John being John. I love that moment," Starr said while on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
