Howie Mandel Gets Compared to Andy Warhol with New Platinum Blonde Wig: See Pic
The America's Got Talent Judge never shies away from having fun with his look.
Howie Mandel just went blonde! Well, sort of.
On September 14, the America's Got Talent Judge shared a funny picture of himself wearing a platinum layered blonde wig and thick black glasses on his official Instagram page. In the snapshot, the comedian committed to the bit, making a super serious expression while wearing a suit and tie in a dressing room. Many of the comments jokingly compared him to famed artist Andy Warhol, and we can't particularly deny the resemblance.
"Andy Warhol that you 😂," commented one follower.
Mandel clearly loves to rock a wig. In July 2023, he posted a video wearing a bowler hat with faux brown bangs. The funnyman also wore a more unconventional wig choice when his granddaughter Abbey decided to give him a makeover by placing a bunch of tissue paper and spoons on his head.
"What is it for? Where can I go like this?" he teased to Abbey as she giggled.

Howie Mandel's hair looks throughout the years.
Despite his signature bald look now, Mandel actually did sport a full head of hair back in the day, as evidenced by many throwback photos he's shared. When he was on his high school wrestling team in the 70s, he had a luscious shaggy hairdo that was totally on trend for the time.
"This is me 1972." he captioned the Instagram post.
This May, he posted a vintage picture of him and Denzel Washington on the set of St. Elsewhere in the '80s, and Mandel sported dark, thick curls.
"#time this show ended 35 years ago yesterday," Mandel wrote on the post.
Then, on August 28, Mandel shared a clip of him performing a standup routine in the 90s. There, he had jet black hair and a goatee.

In a recent red carpet interview with NBC Insider, Mandel talked about his signature style.
“Because most of my hair right now is in my ears and my nose, so when I can display it outside of those orifices, it’s just special,” he joked.
Then, he poked some fun at himself when asked about how he embraces his baldness. "Do I have a choice? How do you know I’m embracing it? I love turtles, and I think I look like a turtle,” he told us.
Well, turtles are pretty cool.
