How to Watch

On New Year's Eve, the singer posted the most genuine Instagram shoutout to his 3-year-old son — who appears to have taken after his dad's musical talents — on his birthday. The IG in question shows the toddler impressively playing an instrument, singing to himself, riding a skateboard, and eating some watermelon.

"Happy Birthday to my literal mini me. I love this boy so much. It’s insane to watch this now 3 year old go grab his guitar and sing his heart out lol Music fills this boy inside and out ❤️," Huntley lovingly wrote in the caption.

See the adorable tribute down later in this post.

Huntley's journey on The Voice

Huntley has another child, a daughter named Stella, who convinced him to choose Team Niall when he earned a Four-Chair turn during his Blind Audition on The Voice Season 24, when he sang "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes.

In an interview with NBC Insider, Huntley talked about how watching Horan's Coaching style on The Voice Season 23, where he won his debut season with Artist Gina Miles, also impacted his decision.

"My daughter was sitting there watching them winning The Voice last year, and the fact that I'm here right now standing with him," Huntley told us. "But one thing that drew me to him as a Coach is how genuine, not only Gina [Miles] was, but him."

Huntley continued, "[Horan has] definitely helped me find out what my brand is and also where my brand can branch off to. I definitely want to stay true to my rock and roll roots. But I've shown that I can also jump into the mainstream with records like 'Way Down We Go,' 'Daylight,' and also 'Another Love.' This man knows how to pick songs, I'll tell you that."

"The fact that he's challenged me this whole time has just been insane. I feel very blessed to have him as a Coach. I think that it was definitely a Godsend," Huntley said.

Huntley also talked about what being on The Voice means to him as a musician. "I think, for me, winning The Voice wasn't really my goal," he said. "Every time I went out there, my goal — every single time — was to create a moment. Because I never genuinely thought that I was going to win The Voice. I just wanted to create a resume to show exactly who I was."
