Get ready for even more comedy with your coffee, because Jenna Bush Hager has revealed that "one of her favorite funny people," Heather McMahan, will be her next guest co-host on Jenna & Friends. McMahan will be on for all of next week, February 24 through February 28.

How to Watch

Watch TODAY weekdays at 7AM ET on NBC.

"I need to get the Depends ready because nobody makes me laugh harder than Heather," Hager said on February 20 when she revealed McMahan would be joining her in the studio. "She is co-hosting all week. We are going to laugh, I know some of the things we're doing, it's going to be hysterical and fun."

"She has such a good soul, I think we'll see a different side of her too," Hager added.

All about Heather McMahan

Heather McMahan is a hilarious comedian and actress. The Atlanta native has had two comedy specials — Son I Never Had and Breadwinner — and kicked off her latest tour, The Bamboozled Tour, in Birmingham, Alabama on February 7. McMahan also played Kerry in the 2021 Netflix original movie, Love Hard. She is also no stranger to hosting. McMahan has hosted E! red carpets for glitzy awards shows like the Grammys, Golden Globes, Emmys, and Oscars. She hosts her own podcast, Absolutely Not!

In October 2024, McMahan stopped by TODAY with Hoda & Jenna to talk about her 2024 special, Breadwinner. During their conversation, Hager couldn't hide her excitement, asking the comedian, "Don't you think I'm your biggest fan?"

"You really are. I feel like you're about to be in my bushes outside my house, just saying," joked McMahan.

As it turns out, Hoda Kotb knew McMahan would make a great host, as she revealed during the comedian's October visit.

"I think I even had a conversation with you a long, long time ago," Kotb told Hager and McMahan. "We had a little conversation about when she was just starting out. I already saw in Heather... she already's climbing the mountain, you're amazing, you have such a long runway. I thought how great you would be at this job one day."

"Come for my job. It's a really great job," quipped Kotb, who had already announced her TODAY departure.

"I'm just so happy to be here. Y'all are always my favorite people to see, this is so much fun," replied McMahan.

Hager isn't the only one excited about McMahan co-hosting Jenna & Friends. When the comedian posted the news on her Instagram, fans filled the comments with excitement, with multiple people writing: "The best!!!" As another added, "Your search is literally over with her!!! Hire her right now!!"

Clear your mornings for when McMahan joins Hager on Jenna & Friends next week, the week of February 24.
