Lainey Wilson Nailed Elvis' Rock-n-Roll Spirit Covering "Santa Claus Is Back in Town"
The country star covered the song during the Christmas at Graceland special on NBC.
Country star Lainey Wilson did a show-stopping cover of an Elvis Presley holiday classic during the Christmas at Graceland special on NBC on November 29.
During Wilson's rendition of "Santa Claus Is Back in Town," she sang with a blues-y twang while grooving to the rhythm. Meanwhile, the rasp in her voice was on point, and the backup singers complemented the performance perfectly. Toward the end of the song, the piano breakdown was absolutely epic. Watch for yourself, above.
