Mariska Hargitay Looks Radiant on a Relaxing Beach Getaway
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star expressed gratitude for the upcoming season in the Instagram video.
Mariska Hargitay is ready for autumn!
On September 5, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star took to her official Instagram page to share a video of her relaxing on the beach, soaking in the sun before fall officially hits. In the clip, she lay in the sand with a white T-shirt and sunglasses.
"Happy end of summer," she said while the serene sound of ocean waves and seagulls were behind her, the wind gently blowing her hair. "Its kind of exciting, last night I felt the first fresh, crisp whisk of brisk air," she said. "Just taking a minute to pause and be grateful for a season, and to welcome in a new one," she added with a reflective sign.

Hargitay has also been enjoying some company in the last days of summer. On August 30, she also posted a snapshot of her hanging out with fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis. In the picture, the two posed next to each other on a bright, sunny day.
"Fierce female friendship alert. Love this lady," Hargitay captioned the post before referring to Curtis as a "sister from another mister."

Hargitay also clearly enjoys being one with nature, as she also explored the Kew Gardens in London's Royal Botanic Gardens with her family this July.
The first snapshot showed her smiling with her husband, Peter Hermann, before we catch a glimpse of some giant lily pads, exotic flowers, and gorgeous ponds.
A month earlier, she and Hermann also took a romantic trip to Italy, an event which Hargitay also documented on her official Instagram page. In the snapshots, the two stood inside a building with some gorgeous architecture. Hargitay also posted some sweet pictures of her and Hermann sharing a smooch while on on a boat.

In a 2018 interview with People, Hargitay opened up about what makes her and Hermann's relationship work.
“My husband is my North Star, and my kids are my teachers. Our family is so perfect, or at least perfect for me. Together we’re just this whole, happy, joyful, chaotic, crazy unit," she told the outlet. "I’ve never known anything that was more right. Peter and I, we're so different that it's been amazing how we complement each other. He knows everything I don't."
