Mariska Hargitay Looks So Ethereal Making Literal Snow Angels on the Ground

The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star is embracing the winter months before the Season 25 premiere of the show.

On January 16, the actress posted a video of herself making snow angels. In the fun, slow-motion clip, Hargitay sprawled out in the snow and made a graceful snow angel, soundtracking her post with "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers. Looks like no cold weather is gonna bring her down!

"Favorite new way to start premiere week! #SnowWeekShowWeek #SnowAngelsForDays #Season25Premiere #SilverAnniversary #SilverPantsSilverSeason #TwoMoreSleeps❄️❄️❄️👼" she wrote in the caption. (SVU Season 25 premieres Thursday, January 18 at 9/8c on NBC and streams next day on Peacock.)

Mariska Hargitay on the red carpet for "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" Concert Movie World Premiere

Hargitay has been having a blast on set filming SVU. On January 8, her co-star, Ice T, posted an Instagram video of himself hyping Hargitay up after she came back from a trip to Kenya. 

"Look who's over here getting done! The glam squad is over here. Who is this gorgeous thing?" Ice T said before Hargitay popped on screen and gave him a hug. 

"I'm not in Africa anymore," Hargitay whispered.

"She just came back from a whirlwind trip," he said.

Mariska Hargitay reflects on turning 60

January 23 will mark Hargitay's 60th birthday, and in a recent interview with People, she shared how she feels about the major milestone.

“I’m so excited. I announce it constantly. I’m proud of it. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been,” she told the outlet. "The age thing was never something I was scared of. I didn’t get cast until I was 35, and then the show kept going as I aged. At 45, we’d been on for 10 years and I just met my husbandThe man of my dreams. I got married at 40. I had August at 42. So it was like defying all the odds."

She added, "I won an Emmy and all these major things kept happening. I didn’t take anything for granted. My beautiful children.  And then in my 50s, my foundation is on fire, and I’m on a show that matters, and I’m counting my lucky stars. How did I get here? And why does nobody care how old I am?”
