The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit stars spent BTS time together at a special event.

By Jackie Manno

Mariska Hargitay (Olivia Benson) and Ryan Buggle (Noah Benson) just had a warm cup of joe together at a very special event.

How to Watch

Watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

At the Olivia Benson Law & Order: Special Victims Unit exhibit at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, Hargitay and Buggle made a stop at a coffee shop adorably named Benson & Co Coffee. In a snapshot posted by Wolf Entertainment's Instagram page, we get to see the on-screen mother and son duo holding their cups with the biggest grins for what is clearly a very special moment.

''Olivia Benson serving up smiles with every cup. #SVU25,'' the post read.

That day, Hargitay herself posted a fun snapshot of herself holding up a coffee shop at the event, looking radiant.

"Such a great time serving #Bensonccinos at the #OliviaBensonPlaza Loved seeing all of your faces! A huge thank you to everyone for coming out and showing us the love and waiting in that loooong line😳! And thank you to my #GlamSquad @dinarama @cassihurdhair @jasonadamv for #Serving the look #SVU25 #ServingSmiles #DunDun #FANtastic,'' she captioned the post. See it here

Ryan Buggle at the Olivia Benson experience in NYC

The Olivia Benson plaza pop-up experience took place on March 14 and 15, and was to honor the landmark 25th Season of SVU. Also at the event was a giant Law & Order logo, a newspaper created specifically for the installation called the Law & Order Ledger, L&O themed bracelets for sale, and more. Meanwhile, the coffee shop had drinks named after the show's iconic characters, such as Fin’s Iced Tea, Benson’s Captain-ccino, or Bruno’s Blend after Det.Terry Bruno (Kevin Kane).

At the event, Buggle spoke to NBC Insider, telling us that the coffee shop was a personal highlight of the experience.

“My favorite part is definitely the Benson & Co coffee,” he told us.

He also beamed when he spoke about working with Hargitay. “Aw, she’s the best. She’s so funny, and like pee your pants funny…I always love joking around with her.”

The feeling is mutual on Hargitay's part, because during a January interview with NBC Insider, the actress raved about his talent and work ethic.

"He is such a special human being," she told us. "He's not like a lot of child actors. He is so good, wise beyond his years, so kind, just wants to learn and grow, and so engaged. Everyone adores him, and he's such a good little actor, so I feel so safe because he's really present and wants to learn. I just adore him because he's also a fascinating person."

She continued, "He's an incredible gymnast, he's a great little thinker, and he asks such good questions, and he's really open for anything. He's like a little adult, but in a good way. I adore him, and I love having scenes with him. Sometimes with little kids, it's like, 'OK, are they gonna get it? Am I gonna have to navigate this?' But with him it's not like that. I look forward to it. And I have real love for him."
