Boyle started off her cover of "You'll See" by crooning dramatically with some vibrato. She masterfully told the song's story with her voice as gorgeous strings played gently in the background.

In 2009, Boyle also recorded an equally-stunning version of "You'll See" for her debut album I Dreamed a Dream.

About "You'll See" by Madonna

Released in 1995 from Madonna's compilation album Something to Remember, "You'll See" reached the number-six position on the Billboard charts. Lyrically, the song tells the story of reclaiming yourself and moving on after a breakup.

The year of its release, Billboard praised the tune, comparing it to the classic "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor.

"[The song is] her most assured and full-bodied vocal performance to date," the outlet wrote. "Amid a swirl of strings and Spanish guitars, she spews the song's declaration of romantic independence with a theatrical verve."
