Universal Studios Butterbeer Season 2025 Is Here With New Treats That You Won't Believe

Muggles, witches and wizards, if you've got an unquenchable thirst for the taste of Butterbeer, then it's time to catch a broomstick or Floo powder yourself to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando for Butterbeer Season 2025!
Inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at both theme parks, the annual celebration of the sweet libation sold (in three different ways) at The Three Broomsticks is going on right now and includes some new treats that broadens the ways you can experience the flavor sensation.

For those who also like to proclaim their Butterbeer love, loudly and proudly, there's a brand-new merchandise line focused on apparel including hoodies, t-shirts, hats, socks and more.

How long is Butterbeer Season at Universal Studios theme parks?
The official Butterbeer Season at both parks is a spring event, running from March 1 to May 31, 2025. You do not need a special ticket or reservations to experience the new treats. But each item is sold separately, and only available at Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure or Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter land of Universal Studios Hollywood.
What Butterbeer treats are available during the event?
Universal Studios theme parks will continue to sell their Butterbeer drinks — cold, warm or frozen style — in their Wizarding World of Harry Potter sections. For the event, you can get a limited edition Golden Stein to take home after you've slurped your version of choice.
The popular Butterbeer Ice Lolly is available in the ice cream carts staged within the world, and will remain a permanent treat to help temper those hot days in the parks.

The existing Butterbeer dessert options of Butterbeer fudge, Butterbeer potted cream and Butterbeer soft-serve ice cream (found in Honeyduke's) remain available to purchase throughout this celebration, and after.
Created for this year's Butterbeer season is the new Butterbeer Cream Puff. It's a delicate pastry topped with a whipped cream well of Butterbeer flavored syrup, while inside is a dollop of Butterbeer potted cream which earns a rich but not too sweet bite.
There's also a new Butterbeer flavored white chocolate bar that's a very sweet treat you can parcel out throughout your theme park day.
What new merch can Butterbeer enthusiasts find in the theme parks?
The new merchandise for this year's Butterbeer season includes a plaid shirt with an German style Butterbeer ad on the back; a zip-up Navy blue hoodie with a Butterbeer pint on the front; a t-shirt with the German style Butterbeer ad; collectible enamel pins; sock sets; and a Butterbeer crossbody bag. You can find the items in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter sections of the theme parks.
Butterbeer Season runs at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando from March 1 through May 31, 2025.
