Suits LA is in full swing, putting a few curveballs on the docket in Episode 5. But many fans may be wondering how and when to tune in to catch all the action following last week's exciting returning character.
According to the official synopsis for Episode 5, shared with NBC Insider, more conflict is percolating with the high-profile murder case that has been the focus of Ted Black (Stephen Amell) and Amanda Stevens (Maggie Grace) for the past three episodes. At the same time, flashbacks will reveal more about Ted’s past.
Is a new episode of Suits LA on tonight? (March 23, 2025)
Yes! A new episode of Suits LA, “You’re On Your Own," airs tonight on NBC at 9 p.m. ET. If you miss the episode, you can catch it the next day on Peacock, where all the previous episodes are available to stream.
More good news for fans: A Suits LA marathon is also on the horizon, with an encore of Episodes 3, 4, and 5 set to air on NBC on March 27 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The events leading up to Episode 5 of Suits LA
As a refresher, Ted’s client, Lester Thompson (Kevin Weisman), is a Hollywood producer facing a murder charge brought by LA prosecutor Elizabeth Smith (Sofia Pernas) for the alleged murder of his business partner. In Episode 3, Smith visited the offices of Black Lane Law to drop a bombshell: Lester had a motive — his wife, Val (Kristen Hager), was having an affair with the very man he supposedly killed. Naturally, the prosecutor wants Val to testify, but in the upcoming Episode 5, Ted and Amanda are determined to prevent that from happening.
Meanwhile, Erica Rollins (Lex Scott Davis), Rick Dodsen (Bryan Greenberg), and P.I. Kevin (Troy Winbush) uncover a problem with Lester's side of the story. When it rains, it pours. Lester has already admitted stealing money from his dead business partner, but Ted has remained a steadfast supporter, preventing him from being kicked off a film project and even fast-tracking the trial date. Will this new information change Ted’s mind about his client’s innocence? We’ll have to tune in to see.
While Suits LA has yet to introduce any full-blown romances, we’ve learned through flashbacks that Ted and Samantha (Rachelle Goulding) were once in a relationship, which explains the tension between them in their present-day interactions. In Episode 5, we’ll learn more about what went down. The official synopsis reads: “In the past, Ted’s plans for his relationship with Samantha are complicated by his RICO case.”
