Stabler and the Organized Crime Control Bureau never ceased to amaze.
After several pulse-pounding cases, Season 4 of Law & Order: Organized Crime has ended.
Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) maintained his chokehold on fans as he fearlessly navigated the insidious world of complex criminal organizations this season. Whether he was going undercover to infiltrate a drug ring or tracking down a perp with the other OCCB detectives, viewers were glued to their screens amid the chaos of Season 4.

The season saw Stabler navigating perhaps the most complex network of all: His own family drama. As Stabler's family members intersected with his latest OCCB investigation, it was up to Stabler to not only deliver justice but keep his cherished family safe.
Who was in the Season 4 cast of Law & Order: Organized Crime?
The Season 4 cast included Meloni, Danielle Moné Truitt as Sgt. Ayanna Bell, Ainsley Seiger as Detective Jet Slootmaekers, and Rick Gonzalez as Detective Bobby Reyes. Season 4 additionally saw the exciting introduction of a new OCCB member: AI Specialist Kyle Vargas, played by Tate Ellington.
Season 4 viewers met several Stabler family recurring guest stars, including Randall Stabler, played by Dean Norris, Joe "Joey" Jr., played by Michael Trotter, and family matriarch, Bernadette "Bernie" Stabler, played by Ellen Burstyn.

What happened in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4?
Season 4 of Law & Order: OC saw Stabler and the OCCB dismantling a heroin smuggling ring operated by ex-Marine and nefarious arms dealer Julian Emery (Thomas Payne). As the OCCB tried to crack that case, Stabler's home life began to demand more of his attention after his mother Bernie's health took a downward turn.
That's how viewers met two of Stabler's brothers: the responsible eldest Stabler, Randall; and the young troublemaker, Joe. As Bernie approached going into hospice care, it was more important than ever for the family to spend time together, but that wasn't a simple affair because Joe Jr. was connected to the very case plaguing the OCCB.

The season culminated in a high-stakes race to stop Emery from conducting an insidious online auction for military-grade weapons, including a chemical nerve agent designed for mass casualties. After Stabler's little brother became a mole for the OCCB, the squad was able to intercept the shipment and stop the auction. But, Emery got away, taking Joe Jr. with him as he fled.
Along the way, Stabler navigated some of his own trauma from his life, not only from his extended tenure within the NYPD but from his time in the U.S. Marine Corps. He brushed paths with SVU's rockstar coroner Dr. Melinda Warner (Tamara Tunie) during the case, whom he hadn't seen in a decade. After sharing a meaningful embrace with his old friend, Stabler apologized for ghosting her when he left the SVU. Meanwhile, Stabler left a kind voicemail for his longtime friend Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and, after playing a season-long game of phone tag, ended up enjoying a phone call with his former partner in the Season 25 SVU finale.
