When Kiqué took the The Voice Season 22 stage for his Blind Audition, he inadvertently caused a face-off between Coaches (and husband and wife) Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

In the end, the 18-year-old ended up with Team Gwen and proved that he was a force to be reckoned with week-after-week. We'll never forget his Knockout Round performance of OutKast's "Hey Ya!", which John Legend called "audacious."

Once Live Shows came around, Kiqué continued to impress even when he landed in the bottom in the Top 13. He earned the Instant Save to fight another week, but unfortunately faced an unexpected obstacle in the Top 10. He tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced into quarantine and had to video conference into the studio. His pre-taped performances aired during the Lives.

"So this Friday I tested positive and then the production crew at @nbcthevoice started working immediately to make a seamless show," he revealed on Instagram at the time. "I had to do some really new things and sing for robot cameras instead of an awesome audience, but at the end of the day I am so grateful to still be [here]."

In the end, Kiqué was eliminated from the competition. But his unparalleled vocals are impossible to forget. So what is he up to now? Find out below.

What is Kiqué doing now after The Voice Season 22?

Despite not being able to be present in-studio for his elimination during the Top 10 Live Results Show, Kiqué remained optimistic as he looked toward the future.

"Now that I’ve had time to think I just want to reiterate how insanely thankful I am for my voice family," the teen wrote in an Instagram caption. "I truly love you all so much. You have changed my life in so many ways❤️🙃... This experience has taught me so much and has given me a platform to be myself and just share my music which is all I’ve ever wanted to do. To finish, this show was just the start. Expect some really good stuff to come soon like better than anything ever probably maybe not but also probably."

The Miami native also noted that he became particularly close to "best friends" and fellow contestants Rowan Grace and Parijita Bastola throughout filming. Bastola is even a part of his latest musical venture. The two are collaborating on a concert in Bastola's hometown of Severna Park, Maryland on Friday, December 30.

"If there is anyone in this world I could choose to sing with it 100% would be parijita," he said in a post announcing the news. "She has taught me so much about myself and is a constant reminder to push myself."

We can't wait to see what Kiqué will do next!
