Jen Parker Davis plays a woman named Ellie on SVU.
It takes a disturbing case to rattle the indomitable Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Ellie Hughes, played by Jen Parker Davis, had such a case. And it's revisited in the March 20, 2025 episode of SVU.

Why you recognize Jen Parker Davis' character, Ellie Hughes, on SVU
Davis plays Ellie Hughes, a popular influencer and former special victim from SVU Season 26, Episode 6 ("Rorschach"). Viewers were reminded of her horrific case in SVU's latest when Benson reunited with Ellie and her mother. Ellie was brutally assaulted and nearly killed by her abusive boyfriend, Chris Becker. Benson's squad arrested and successfully imprisoned Chris, but Ellie was never the same after the attack; she was rendered comatose, surviving on life support.
Benson's heartbreaking reunion with Ellie
Benson received a grim update about Ellie in Season 26, Episode 16 ("Let Me Bring Pardon") after reuniting with Ellie and her mom, Laura Hughes (Jama Williamson). Ellie was pregnant, and Laura "couldn't be happier."
The upsetting news shook Benson. A now-imprisoned rapist impregnated Ellie. As Laura gushed over Ellie getting to have a semblance of a future, Benson started questioning the timeline. When exactly had Ellie gotten pregnant? After speaking with some nurses, Benson realized Ellie conceived right around the time she entered the trauma ward. So it could have been Chris' baby from the attack or, Benson worried, another sexual assault. Benson needed a DNA test stat; she had a hunch there was something sinister happening.

"That means there's a rapist out there so depraved he'd rape someone in a coma," Benson told her squad after explaining the complications of getting the DNA test. Ellie's mother was euphorically happy, so she didn't provide consent. After visiting Ellie's ex-boyfriend in prison, they got his DNA to make progress in the investigation. After reading the DNA results, Benson's worst fear was proven right.
"Ellie's baby is the product of a rape," Benson told her squad sadly. Benson later visited Laura to deliver the news, promising that she'd find whoever was responsible for assaulting Ellie in the hospital. After a meticulous investigation and dozens of DNA swabs with dead ends, Benson and her squad learned that Laura had grown close to the trauma unit's youth pastor, Caleb Hardwell, while caring for Ellie in the hospital.
After scanning the surveillance footage, the squad noticed Caleb entering Ellie's hospital room before shutting the curtains. A swift arrest and a successful DNA test later, Benson was able to prove Caleb was Ellie's rapist and throw him in prison.
