About the Show

Adapted from the first novel in British author Malorie Blackman's breakthrough young adult series by the same name, Noughts + Crosses imagines an alternative universe in which history unfolded in racial reverse. In present-day London, strict race laws maintain the power dynamic. Within this dystopian society divided by color, Sephy Hadley and Callum McGregor are childhood friends whose relationship blossoms into forbidden romance. Sephy, a "Cross," is an esteemed member of the Black ruling class and the daughter of a powerful politician. Callum is a "Nought," a member of the white underclass that is on the brink of revolt. Together, the star-crossed lovers face a world of violence, oppression and loss.
