Here's the Exact Moment Harper, the AGT Metal Girl, Stunned the Judges

America's Got Talent has seen its fair share of memorable singers, but nothing could have prepared the Judges for 9-year-old Harper, now known as the AGT metal girl. 

Harper traveled all the way from the U.K. with her father to audition for AGT—and she gave the Judges something they'll never forget. Because, well, Harper isn't a singer like Madison Baez or Sara James. No, she performs metal music—better yet, she screams metal music. 

Now, this isn't something entirely new to America's Got Talent. Remember, in Season 8, 6-year-old Aaralyn performed her original scream-o song "Zombie Skin." While the Judges were hesitant at first, they eventually gave Aaralyn the green light—and she and her bandmate, Izzy, made it to the Quarter-Finals. 

But this time around, the Judges didn't hesitate with Harper. The 2:02 mark in the video, above, is the exact moment Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Sofía Vergara realized they weren't in for an average singing Audition. Because Howie Mandel wasn't feeling well, he wasn't present for this try-out—so Harper's father sat in Mandel's seat and was beaming with pride. 

Klum, Cowell, and Vergara all stood up at the end of Harper's performance. "It's like you have a monster inside you," Vergara told Harper. 

"This was unexpected," Klum said, "[But] I have to say, lovely!" Vergara echoed this sentiment, saying, "Amazing!...It was so effortless." 

Cowell perhaps summed it up best. "That was brilliant," he said. "It was like a mouse shedded into a vampire bat or something."
