The Voice Winner Bryce Leatherwood is Going on Tour: Is He Coming to Your Hometown?
Find out if Leatherwood is bringing his high-energy set to a city near you!
There are some truly legendary Artists to come from The Voice, with Bryce Leatherwood among the many champions to hit the ground running after winning the NBC singing competition. (He was Team Blake's ninth win!) And if you loved Leatherwood's jaw-dropping run on The Voice, you're in luck: he's taking his electrifying act on tour in 2023!
The country singer blew The Voice crowds away during Season 22, and since winning, he's delivered mind-blowing performances all over the nation. Leatherwood is launching his first-ever tour, and he just might be making his way to a town near you this summer. He took to Instagram to make the exciting announcement.
"Alright y’all! Here’s my current tentative show schedule for this Summer," Leatherwood captioned the IG announcement. "I’m super excited to hit the road and get to perform some of my new music for y’all! God is Good."
Leatherwood had the Coaches in the palm of his hand during his Blind Audition of Conway Titty's "Goodbye Time," performed in Shelton's signature version. It was a risky move, but it paid off because Shelton was an instant fan of his rustic energy and magnetic stage presence.
NBC Insider chatted with the country singer following his Season 22 victory, and he revealed winning was a life-changing and gratifying moment.
"I was just shook. It was like I was living a dream. Then there was the confetti and loud energy. Thank God, because you would’ve heard me sobbing," Leatherwood teased. "I was just so happy to make my family proud and make a lot of people proud... It was just cool to see that hard work pay off."
As for what was next, Leatherwood knew that he wasn't going to stop performing anytime soon. In fact, the show was just getting started on The Voice. When we asked what his goals looked like after winning the competition, he explained he would release music soon.
"Definitely releasing a lot of music. Playing shows. That’s what I love to do: play shows," he said. "But I want to get some original content out there. I want to get an album or two out there in the next couple years. So many people have given so much love to me, It’s time to give back to them. So whether that’s music or playing shows and festivals, making people happy is my goal."
