Dan Smyers & His Wife Abby Share a Cozy Look Into Life at Home with All Their Dogs

Dan Smyers and his wife Abby Smyers celebrated Thanksgiving with their big, happy family full of doggies!
On November 24, Abby took to her official Instagram page to share heartwarming photos of her and the second-half of Voice Coaching duo, Dan + Shay, cuddling with their four dogs on Thanksgiving. In the first picture, Abby holds two pups while one of them affectionately gives her a kiss on the face, and Smyers looks down at one dog lovingly. Then, the country star has his arm around Abby while a furry friends sits in each of their laps indoors. The other two dogs sit obediently on the couch while they all look at the camera. How cute!
"Very grateful for you, my crew. 🧡Happy Thanksgiving to all!" Abby gushed in the caption.

Smyers and Abby's fur babies are everything to them. For Christmas 2023, Smyers shared a time lapse video of he and Abby putting up their Christmas tree as the pooches hung out and supervised.
"IT’S TIME…🎄," he wrote in the caption of the clip, which was set to Dan + Shay's holiday tune "Take Me Home for Christmas".
What to know about Dan Smyer's relationship with his wife Abby
Smyers and Abby's love for dogs is a foundation for their relationship. In fact, the two first met at a Nashville-based animal rescue center in 2013, according to Country Living. Dan then proposed in 2016.
“There are few words to fully convey this feeling of complete happiness,” Abby gushed on Instagram after the proposal. “Daniel Smyers, knowing and loving you has been the most rewarding part of my life thus far, and continuing our journey together as your wife will be an honor.”

The two's wedding registry also requested donations for a local dog-fostering center, Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue. Three of their pets — Chief, Joy, and Ghost — were also a part of the wedding party.
“The father to our canines. The keeper of my heart. The hardest-working man I know. My best friend. My partner. My husband,” Abby wrote on Instagram in a heartwarming post about their union. “Thank you for making my dreams come true and choosing me to walk beside you in this life.”
The couple also works closely with animal organizations such as Wags & Walks Rescue Nashville and the International Fund for Animal Welfare. This July, Abby posted a picture of her and Smyers posing at the Wags & Walks Rescue Nashville Center at its grand opening, where she and Dan sponsored a part of the center.
"We are going to save all the dogs!!!!" Abby wrote on the Instagram post.
