Gwen Stefani Just Shared Rare Footage from Her and Blake Shelton's Wedding
The Voice power couple is thriving ahead of Stefani's return to the red chair for Season 24.
It's no secret that everyone's favorite couple from The Voice, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, is obsessed with each other. Exhibit A: After Shelton's birthday landed on the same day as Father's Day this year, Stefani made sure Shelton felt the love.
On June 18, Stefani took to Instagram to share a thoughtful montage of photos and videos of Shelton from their wedding day and other fun-filled milestones together. The slideshow was set to Stefani's song "True Babe," a perfect choice for the many clips of the couple kicking it on The Voice, performing together on tour, and more.
Stefani captioned the sweet IG clip, "happy bday and fathers day, @blakeshelton <3 i love you more than anything gx."
As a proud stepfather to Stefani's children, family means a lot to Shelton. In fact, becoming stepfather was one of the main reasons for him deciding to leave The Voice after 23 seasons as a Coach. (Luckily, Stefani will return to the red chair as a Coach in Season 24 alongside Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and John Legend.)
“I think being a stepdad has changed my perspective in that I’m not the first person that I think about anymore," Shelton told Access. "Even to the small little things when you go, ‘I think I’ll do this,’ the very next thought is always, ‘Well, wait a minute. How’s that going work?' Or, 'What will they think?' Or, 'How will that affect a schedule?'"
“I think the only way for me to really do that right is to step away from being committed to something like The Voice that demands a lot of your time," Shelton explained. "There’s no way around it. If you’re going to do it and do it right, you have to be 150 percent in."
Shelton and Stefani's family were in attendance for his Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony in May, and Stefani had the entire crowd emotional with her touching tribute to him.
"It blows my mind being here today," Stefani shared. "To stand on the Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrating my husband, Blake Shelton. You are so deserving of this honor, and the boys and I, all of your friends, your family, your colleagues, could not be more proud."

She continued, "[Blake] is magnetic, the most generous person you'll ever know, and always just him no matter where he goes. Making people laugh, making people happy, making jokes...The reason Blake Shelton is here today on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is because you are part of the country dream, the Hollywood dream, and you are part of the American dream."
