Jason Beghe Makes Rare Behind-the-Scenes Appearance in New Chicago P.D Cast Selfie
Beghe, Marina Squerciati, Tracy Spiridakos, and LaRoyce Hawkins all smiled for the camera.
Chicago P.D. selfie alert!
On December 4, Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess) posted a fun snapshot of herself, Tracy Spiridakos (Hailey Upton) and LaRoyce Hawkins (Kevin Atwater) all smiling together while behind the scenes in costume, happily filming Season 11. But the best part? Your favorite gravely-voiced officer, Jason Beghe (Hank Voight) also made a rare appearance for the picture, as he has no official Instagram account so is rarely seen when the cast documents their behind-the-scenes moments.
"Nice to be with the fam for the holidays," Squerciati wrote on the post.

This isn't the only time the Chicago P.D. cast has given fans of glimpse of filming Season 11. November 27 marked the first day of filming, and Spiridakos celebrated by sharing a picture of her and Squerciati posing in front of what appears to be the Intelligence Unit's office set.
"Annnnd we’re back!! 🥳👯♀️ #chicagopd #burgess #upton #bupton? #upgess?" Spiridakos enthusiastically captioned the post.
"The BEST way to start the day!!" the official NBC Instagram page commented.
Then, two days later, Squerciati posted a funny snapshot on her Instagram story of a plush Jesse Lee Soffer-inspired doll sitting on a chair behind the scenes.
"The weird things you do when you miss your co-star," she wrote on the post, tagging Soffer, referencing when his character Jay Halstead departed the show in Season 10.
What to expect for Chicago P.D. Season 11
Beghe, Spiridakos, Squerciati, and Hawkins will all return for Season 11 as their respective characters. In an interview with NBC Insider, Patrick John Flueger (Adam Ruzek) talked about the on-again-off-again romance between his character and Burgess is going.
"If Instagram comments are any indication, most of the fans are like, 'Just leave them alone, leave them alone,'" Flueger told us. "So I think we’ve got enough opportunities for drama on our show that maybe you’ll actually be able to see two people just kind of be happy together."

He continued: "[Marina and I have] definitely both told the writers — and, you know, we can tell them anything we want, but it doesn’t mean they’re going to listen — that if they break us up again, like, please let’s not try this again because it’s too much. It’s too much."
The Season 11 premiere of Chicago P.D. will return on Wednesday, January 17 at 10/9c. And if you need your fix of the action packed drama, you can catch up by watching previous episodes on Peacock.
