Kelly Clarkson & Ben Platt Sound Beyond Perfect Singing This Bob Dylan Classic
Clarkson and the Broadway star did their own unique version of the beloved song.
On October 14 during The Kelly Clarkson Show a very special guest, Broadway star Ben Platt, accompanied Kelly Clarkson for a moving original arrangement of "Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan.
During the performance, Clarkson handled the introduction lyrics by crooning softly while piano chords played behind her.
Platt then jumped in by riffing with passion while Clarkson smiled at him, clearly impressed by his vocal chops.
When the chorus kicked in, the two harmonized perfectly, their voices soaring in a way that will send chills down your spin. For the outro, Clarkson handled the sustained belted notes while Platt pulled off some smooth runs. To wrap things up, they sang the final gentle note together and embraced in a hug.
