Kelly Clarkson's Cover of Elvis' "Can't Help Falling in Love" Is So Warm and Cozy
She sang the iconic hit on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in 2020.
Kelly Clarkson made an iconic song sound like a relaxing lullaby.
In 2020 on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson did a gorgeous cover of the classic hit "Can't Help Falling in Love" by the one and only Elvis Presley. During her mesmerizing performance, she crooned steadily while soothing guitars played in the background. Towards the end of the song, she pulled off a jazzy riff before wrapping everything up by singing in a heavenly clear tone that was up an octave from the original key. Presley sure would've been proud of Clarkson.

About "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley
One of Presley's most recognizable tunes to date, "Can't Help Falling in Love" was originally released as a track from the 1961 musical-romance film Blue Hawaii, where Presley played the lead character Chad Gates. The song reached the number-two position on the Billboard Hot 100 a year later. In 2004, Rolling Stone placed it at the number-403 position on its "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list.
"This adaptation of Giovanni Martini's 18th-century song 'Plaisir d'Amour' was given to Elvis for his movie Blue Hawaii — hence the Hawaiian steel guitar. But this was no vacation for Presley: It took him 29 takes to nail his exquisitely gentle vocals. The song became the closing number for most of his Seventies concerts," the outlet wrote.
Since its release, the song has been commonly covered by the likes of Kacey Musgraves, UB40, Andrea Bocelli, Haley Reinhart, Zayn Malik, and more.
