Mariska Hargitay Reveals Her Cute Nickname for Ice T in Video for His 66th B-Day
Hargitay came up with a clever name for her co-star on his big day.
On February 16, Mariska Hargitay (Olivia Benson) brought us behind the scenes of filming Law & Order: Special Victims Unit via Instagram for a very important reason.
''We're shooting in the morgue. But its a special day today, you wanna know why? It's a happy day. It's a day to celebrate. Because it's Ice T's birthday!'' Hargitay said before the camera panned to her giving her co-stars a hug.
Then, in a hilarious moment, Ice T asked Hargitay to show the dead body prop on set.
''Don't traumatize the people!'' Hargitay said with a laugh. ''Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I love Ice T. And I wish you all to join me on wishing him a happy 87th birthday!'' she added as Ice T chuckled. (It's actually his 66th birthday.)

But the best part was the caption, where she revealed the sweet nickname that she has given the rapper.

To honor his 65th birthday in 2023, Hargitay posted the sweetest throwback snapshot of them embracing.

When Ice T received his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February 2023, Hargitay gave a moving speech about what it's like to work with him and be his friend off set.
"You have lived a story that has shaped how you look at the world. A story that would have hardened many people beyond recognition, but instead, it filled you with humanity, with humility, with grace, and with oh so much wisdom,. You are a devoted husband and a proud, proud, proud father, and you are taking your place here for all those reasons and for so many more. But to me, Ice, the reason that you're here and the reason that you have fame in my heart is because you are the O.G. of Friendship," she said profoundly.
