Nikki Glaser Jokes About Ozempic, Flying Fears and More on The Tonight Show
The comedy queen proves she's "Alive and Unwell" in her March 24 sit-down with Jimmy Fallon.
Nikki Glaser absolutely slayed as the host of the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, and she knows how to keep audiences laughing — which was evident during her latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The comedy queen is currently traversing around North America on her Alive and Unwell tour, and made some time to sit down with Jimmy Fallon on March 24. The two bonded over hosting the Globes (Fallon did it in 2017). Glaser also shared her hysterical opinions on topics including plastic surgery, her new flying anxiety, and the Ozempic craze.

Nikki Glaser defends people using Ozempic: "Hell yeah, girl"
"I love it! I'm like, do it. I have no judgment. If you want to do Ozempic, hell yeah, girl," Glaser told Fallon. "I want people to feel more comfortable talking about doing it, because I feel the shame is only from thin people who want you to stay fat. Like, that's really where it's coming from. They're so mad that you're getting thin now because that's all they have, right?"
"You have your dynamic. You have a good personality and they're like, 'Nooo!'" Glaser continued. "They're so mad. But they can't say it, right? They just go, 'No, you're stealing medicine from diabetics who need it.'"
"That's their excuse. Like anyone's ever cared about someone with diabetes who doesn't have it," Glaser joked (before quickly adding that she does care).
"'Diabetics need their meds.' It's like, no, I think you're upset that Kathy Bates has a thigh gap," she quipped.
This isn't the first time Glaser has joked about the weight-loss drug. During her Golden Globes opening monologue she referred to the event as "Ozempic's biggest night."
During her conversation with Fallon, Glaser also brought up how even though she does a lot of traveling, the unusual amount of plane crashes this year has unlocked a new level of flying anxiety.
"I felt like I was really over any kind of fear of flying. Like, almost zero until recently, when there started to be like, four plane crashes a day," she told The Tonight Show Host. "Now it's a little disconcerting."

"There's new fears with flying. I used to be like, 'Oh, crashes, terrorism...' Now it's like, 'the door could fall off,'" Glaser continued. "Your plane could land upside down. My biggest fear used to be I'd sit next to a guy with a story to tell, you know?"
Not only did Glaser deliver hilarious hot takes during her Tonight Show appearance, she also murdered a Lady Gaga lip-sync backstage — proving she is a woman of many talents. We can't wait to see what she has up her sleeves when she returns to host the Golden Globes next year.
