Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is more than just a beast on the field—it turns out he he's got skills on the mic as well.

How to Watch

Watch The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC weeknights at 11:35/10:35c and next day on Peacock

When Kelce was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2023, Host Jimmy Fallon told the NFL star, who's headed to Super Bowl LVIII, that he'd heard that Kelce did some karaoke.

"There was one song that has been very important to you during this playoff run, and I thought maybe, we can convince you..." Fallon began, as the audience broke into cheers. "We've got The Roots, we've got the best in the business right there—fellas, do you mind?"

With that, Kelce leapt to his feet and showed off his skills by rapping the 1986 Beastie Boys hit "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)."

During his fun performance, Kelce ran around energetically onstage, chanting the tune with pure dedication. Watch the video here, and below.

Travis Kelce announced his Saturday Night Live gig on The Tonight Show

Kelce hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time on March 14, 2023. Before his debut, he gushed to Jimmy Fallon about how much the experience means to him during the same February 2023 visit to the talk show.

"Growing up I was a huge [Chris] Farley, [Will] Farrell, [Jimmy] Fallon kind of guy. I used to watch Saturday Night Live with my mother," Kelce shared. "And it's an absolute honor and privilege to be hosting SNL March 4th." Kelce added that he was "so nervous."

Yet Kelce had no reason to be nervous, as he absolutely nailed his sketches and opening monologue. Watch them all here

Fast forward to October 2023, and Kelce made a surprise cameo during the premiere of SNL Season 49. In a parody of Fox NFL Sunday, Kelce popped at the very end as a sports announcer who "actually wants to talk football."

Better yet, his girlfriend Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance as well, introducing the Musical Guest Ice Spice.

Kelce has also been in the headlines for his public-facing romance with Taylor Swift. Speculation about their relationship began when Swift started regularly attending Kelce's football games in Fall 2023, and the two have been sparking excitement with their moments of affection ever since.

In a December 2023 interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine, Kelce explained how their courtship originally began. “When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there," he told the outlet.

Kelce also talked about what the experience of dating the mega superstar has been for him.

"I’ve never dealt with it,” he added. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it.... The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange.”
