Kelly Clarkson's Rendition of "I'll Be Home for Christmas" Is Beyond Cozy
Warm up with some hot chocolate and this Clarkson Christmas classic!
With two holiday albums under her belt and the voice of an angel, Kelly Clarkson is a Christmas music expert. If you need more proof of this, check out her cover of the Bing Crosby classic "I'll Be Home for Christmas."
Clarkson actually has two versions of the track: one featured on a deluxe edition of her 2013 Christmas album Wrapped in Red, and another from her 2012 LP, Greatest Hits – Chapter One. You can listen to that version later down this article.
Clarkson released her second Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around in 2021, which includes covers of classics like "Jingle Bell Rock," "Last Christmas," "Santa Baby."
"I kind of thought I'd never make another Christmas album because I love Wrapped in Red so much," Clarkson told ET in 2021. "And then I thought, you know what, I feel like I could use some cheer, some Christmas cheer, and maybe a lot of us could."
She added about the album, "There's a lot of songs on there that aren't necessarily your, like, 'Let's play and get in a jolly mood' kind of vibe Christmas. Some are, 'Let's really feel all the feelings' Christmas songs. I think that's why I named it When Christmas Comes Around because I feel like that's a really good title because when Christmas comes around, we are all in different places."
