However, that big talk may need to wait. Find out why Dr. Hannah Asher was absent from Gaffney on Season 10, Episode 16 ("Poster Child"), below.
Where was Dr. Hannah Asher in Chicago Med this week? March 26, 2025
Dr. Hannah Asher is absent in Season 10, Episode 16 ("Poster Child"), presumably because the character has the day off work. But fret not, Chi-Hards; Hannah will be back in action soon, so Ripley isn't off the hook.
Jessy Schram talks about Hannah's Chicago Med romance with Ripley
With her lengthy tenure on Chicago Med, Schram has explored several Gaffney romances, but her connection to Ripley has stolen hearts. He's troubled, sure, but Hannah has a broken past, too. Hannah and Ripley seem like a perfect pair, and it's a relationship Schram has enjoyed navigating, but it's been anything but simple for the two doctors.
"I think what I liked about the romantic relationship is we haven't seen that side of Hannah since [Nick Gehlfuss'] Will Halstead, and even then, that was such a different version of Hannah," Schram told TV Line ahead of Season 10. "So I've really liked, as an actor, getting to know this version of her in a romantic, sober relationship, in a flirtation, in a crush scenario. It does happen to be with someone she works with, so that could get a little tricky sometimes. But Luke has been a great addition, and I feel like he's definitely been finding his stamp [with] Ripley, and it's fun to be able to be his scene partner while he's doing that."
