Gwen Stefani just dropped a new tune, and her hubby Blake Shelton is totally digging it.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

A few hours after the release of Stefani's new single "True Babe", Shelton took to his official Instagram page to celebrate the exciting debut of the song. The picture he posted featured Stefani looking gorgeous, sporting a flannel off-the-shoulder number, silver hair clips, and ultra long yellow nails while she posed in front of an edit of a beautiful floral graphic.

"My wife put out a new song today.. you know... THE GWEN STEFANI!!!!!!! Go listen people!!!! It's a hit!!!!! I'm so proud of you @gwenstefani!!!" Shelton gushed in the caption.

"True Babe" is a brand new single by Gwen Stefani that was released on June 22. Featuring twangy guitars and thumping drums, the touching lyrics tell the story of still getting the butterflies with your partner even after finding comfortability with them after many years have passed. "I wanna fly to your shows / Wanna wake up in your clothes," Stefani romantically sings in the pre-chorus, alluding to her relationship with the country star.

"And we're from two different worlds / But you still call me your pretty girl," she also sings during the bridge, referencing Shelton's Oklahoma and her contrasting Orange County origins.

While Stefani will be returning as a Coach for the 24th Season of The Voice, Shelton bid farewell to the show when Season 23 wrapped up this this spring. In an emotional interview with Extra, Stefani explained why her husband chose to leave The Voice after all these years, and the reason was totally sweet.

“I think that Blake – I don’t know, I think he just wants more time, you know what I mean? I don’t know that people realize, if he’s doing two seasons a year, right? In between that, he’s touring. So he actually has two teams at the same time at a certain point, so they overlap. So it’s a lot of brain power, it’s a lot of time away from the family, those kinds of things. I think he just got to a point where he just wants time in his ranch, like time to just do the other things that he loves to do,” she told the outlet.

“And I’m totally speaking for you, Blake, sorry! I’m married to you so I can say whatever I want! But it's just, I’m excited for him because, you know, we have lives outside of work, and it’s a really good life, it's really fun, and we have so much fun! We have Oklahoma, which is something I never knew I needed and wanted, you know? We planted a garden, we do all kinds of fun stuff. So we’re looking forward to doing some of that family stuff together. It's 'gonna be great," she added.
