The first-ever People's Country Choice Awards is coming to NBC. Held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee, the two-hour special will be a nod to the country music industry. It will feature performances, tributes, and fan-voted awards given to some of the biggest names in modern country music today.

But what country superstars should we expect to see at the People's Choice Country Awards on NBC? Keep reading to find out all the names.

All the celebrities attending the People's Choice Country Awards 2023

So far, all the celebrities set to make appearances at the People's Choice Country Awards are as follows:

Little Big Town will be hosting. “We are honored to host the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards, especially on one of our most beloved stages in the entire world,” the band said. “We look forward to welcoming so many of our talented peers to take the Opry [House] stage for this magical night of music.” 

Meanwhile, Blake Shelton will be presenting the "Country Music Icon" Award to Toby Keith. “We’re overjoyed to honor legendary artist Toby Keith with the first-ever 'Country Icon' Award,” said Cassandra Tryon, Senior Vice President, Entertainment Live Events, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “As a talented songwriter and powerhouse performer, Keith has touched the hearts of fans across the globe. His illustrious career and passion for philanthropy has cemented his place as an icon in country music history.”

Another country legend, Wynonna Judd, will also be receiving a special award, the Country Champion Award.  “Wynonna is one of the most recognized and lauded performers in country music,” said Tryon. “Not only is she incredibly talented, her selflessness and passion for putting the needs of others in the spotlight is unmatched. We can’t think of a better person to honor as our inaugural ‘Country Champion’ and to celebrate the holidays with across these two major country music events.” 

Judd is also hosting another NBC country music special, called Christmas at the Opry, on December 7 at 8/7c.

How to watch the People's Choice Country Awards

The People's Country Awards will air on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 8/7c on NBC and Peacock.
