Chrissy Teigen Scored a 4-Chair Turn on The Voice by Roasting the Coaches
Chrissy Teigen didn't need to hit any angelic notes to secure a 4-Chair Turn on The Voice.
Chrissy Teigen knows how to make a good impression, and while she may not be famed for her angelic singing voice, that didn't stop her from scoring a 4-Chair Turn on The Voice.
Applauded for her quick wit and charming personality, Teigen is a good friend of The Voice thanks to marrying longtime Coach John Legend. Ahead of The Voice's 2018 holiday-themed episode, the show got an extra special audition from Teigen, who managed a to get a 4-Chair Turn from the season's Coaches. What song did she sing? Did she have backup singers? How did Teigen swing that success? Knowing a thing or two about the Coaches panel, Teigen didn't hold back from roasting the competition into chair turns, leading to hilariously good results.

While some Artists focus on clean pitch and angelic-sounding melodies, Teigen went with her wit. And the fun all began after Teigen took a quick nap. What the hilarious throwback video, below.
Chrissy Teigen's stress dream brought her to The Voice stage
"What is this? What's going on?" Teigen's inner monologue blared over The Voice studio's loudspeakers. "Where am I?"
As Teigen took The Voice stage dressed in striped pajamas, massive elf-themed slippers, and a sleep mask, it was clear that she'd entered a stress dream. In front of her were Coaches Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and last but not least, Teigen's husband, Legend. With a mic mysteriously in hand, Teigen realized what was happening with dread.
"Oh no, this is my worst nightmare. I'm auditioning on The Voice," Teigen's inner monologue continued. "Wait, so I have to have the perfect Christmas and win The Voice?"
"This is the worst!" Teigen screamed into the mic, getting a big laugh from the studio audience.
"How am I supposed to make them turn their chairs?" Teigen's inner monologue pondered. "Do they expect me to sing? I'm not going to sing. I could try to make them laugh?"
Teigen then hesitantly turned her attention to 2013's Sexiest Man Alive, hoping to take advantage of Shelton's longtime Voice rivalry with Levine.
"'Oh, I'm Adam, I'm the Sexiest Man Alive!'" Teigen imitated into the mic. "'I'm so sexy!' You know who's a sexier man than you? I'm a sexier man than you, Adam!"
At that, a smiling Shelton slammed down his button to turn his chair.
"That's good!" Shelton cheered. "That's good!"
"Did that just work?" Teigen's confused inner monologue wondered. With three more Coaches to charm, Teigen stuck to what worked before, this time slipping on a strong country twang.
"'I'm Blake Shelton!'" Teigen mimicked for the Coaches. "I'm so country; if you don't join my team, I may have the country mafia after you. Oh gosh, I'm 'gonna kick your butt, you're never 'gonna have a career again, I am the job-'"
Teigen's country-friend impression of Shelton successfully sold Levine, who turned his chair with a smirk.
"Yes, preach!" Levine exclaimed.
"That's all it took?" Teigen asked him.
"That's all I needed," Levine quipped. "I hate him."
"How do I get Kelly to turn around?" Teigen pled.
"Just start talking super fast," Levine shrugged.
"Kelly, oh my god, I love you," Teigen gushed at the back of Clarkson's chair. "I love your babies! I love everything about you!"
Clarkson wasn't a hard sell, especially at the mention of her kids. "I love my babies!" Clarkson cheered.
"All I got left is John," Teigen's inner monologue said. Getting her husband to turn around would be a tougher nut to crack. "I can't just insult John, I do that every day. Oh, I know. I'll tell him my favorite thing about us."
"John, I make more money than you now," Teigen yelled into the mic, getting an uproarious laugh and a quick buzzer slam from her husband.
"You won The Voice!" Legend cheered. Everyone in the audience applauded Teigen for her hilarious performance and 4-Chair Turn. But just as Teigen secured her victory, she woke up from her dream.
"I won The Voice!" she exclaimed.
