Chris Meloni Shares Rare Baby Pics of Mini-Me Son Dante for His 20th Birthday
The Law & Order: Organized Crime star is clearly proud of his son!
Christopher Meloni's mini-me son, Dante, has officially been alive for two decades!
On January 2, 2024, the Law & Order: Organized Crime star dedicated a thoughtful Instagram to Dante on his 20th birthday. The snapshots show Meloni holding Dante as a baby, as well as a recent picture of the two hanging outside together.
"20 years," Meloni sentimentally captioned the post.

Last year, Meloni also gave an Instagram shoutout to Dante when he turned 19. The father-son duo got sick right before the celebration, so Meloni posted pictures of the two humorously looking deadpan into the camera with the caption, “Celebrating the flu with the 19 yo."

Meloni and Dante clearly enjoy spending father-son time together. For one, they're workout buddies. In April 2023, Meloni shared pictures of himself and Dante hitting the gym together, while they FaceTimed Meloni's 22-year-old daughter, Sophia. In the post, we also catch a glimpse of Meloni's longtime wife, Sherman, smiling in a kitchen.

In a 2014 interview with USA Today, the actor opened up about his parenting style.
“I think my kids would call me a little crazy. I’m very physical, very affectionate. I’m also very disciplined and focused on education. That’s one thing that was instilled in me, one place in life where there’s no compromise," he told the outlet.
He continued, "What works for me is empowering my kids. I remember not having any power when I was growing up. Power helps kids mature, and it requires critical thinking on their part. They feel engaged in a decision, which makes them feel engaged in the family process.”
In 2022, he opened up to People about how Dante and Sophia's personalities differ. "One is more of an old soul. I never used that term until they came out of the womb and I looked in their eyes. I was like, 'Holy cow, look at you. You're here to teach me.' As well as the other one, who's a young soul. It's ever-evolving and a complete fulfillment of my life," he said.
