Christina Aguilera Shares Rare Glimpse of Daughter Summer for Her 43rd Bday in Vegas
The former The Voice Coach was given a special surprise by her 9-year-old.
December 18 marked the 43rd birthday of Christina Aguilera (who was a Coach on The Voice for Seasons 1-3, 5, 8, and 10), and what better way to celebrate than with her adorable daughter, Summer Rain?
The popstar shared a heartwarming clip of her 9-year-old daughter surprising her with a slew of balloons and a "Happy Birthday" banner, before giving her mama a big hug.
"Thank you for all the birthday wishes - sending love from Vegas ♥️💋," Aguilera captioned the post, referencing her upcoming residency in Las Vegas at The Venetian Resort's Voltaire venue.

Christina Aguilera on raising her children
Aguilera is the proud mother to two children, 9-year-old Summer Rain, and 15-year old Max.
In a 2019 interview with Haute Living, the "Fighter" singer opened up about what being a parent means to her.
“I’m a huge kid at heart, and they give me the opportunity to play and be able to instill and encourage their imaginations,” she told the outlet. “You are part of these amazing little people’s lives, and it teaches you patience and teaches you things about yourself that you don’t like, that you want to work on. It is a constant journey of learning, they teach me so much, and they challenge me all the time to be better."
Although she is a dedicated parent, she opened up to Women's Health in 2016 about how she manages to find a balance between taking care of her children and taking care of herself.
“Having children is the ultimate joy, and I love my kids, but women have to find time to nurture themselves," she told the outlet.

In August 2023, Xtina celebrated Summer Rain's birthday by bringing her onstage during her concert in Israel. In the video, Aguilera had her arm around her daughter before the two took a bow and danced around onstage.
"Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Summer Rain," Aguilera said in the caption. "Today I find myself reflecting on how fast time has gone by. These 9 years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs, staying up too late, Disney adventures, and most recently, the joy of gracing the stage alongside you."
"Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma, a role that stands as my ultimate accomplishment," she added. "Witnessing the remarkable young woman you are evolving into fills me with immense pride.
