After many weeks of intense musical competition, it's all came down to this: The Voice Season 23 finale. From the Blind Auditions to the Battles, Knockouts, and Playoffs, it's been an electrifying season — filled with some of the greatest talent this show has seen.
But there could only be one winner of The Voice, and they were revealed during the finale on Tuesday, May 23. Before the winner was announced, viewers were treated to a spectacle of a finale episode. We're talking live performances, celebrity appearances, and returning Coaches stopping by to say hello.
There was an important reason we rolled out the red carpet: It's Blake Shelton's last-ever Voice finale. After 23 seasons and 12 years of red-chair action, our favorite cowboy is riding off into the sunset. He deserves the biggest, coolest send-off possible — which is exactly what we gave him.
"It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week," Shelton said in a statement announcing his exit. "I’ve made lifelong bonds with [Host] Carson [Daly] and every single one my fellow Coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani! I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers – the ‘Voices,’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their Coach. Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these Artists, us Coaches, and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams. It would not happen without you!"

The winner of The Voice Season 23 was announced during the finale on Tuesday, May 23. Coming in second place was Grace West, followed by D.Smooth in third, Sorelle in fourth, and NOIVAS in fifth.
Who appeared on The Voice Season 23 finale?
OG Coaches CeeLo Green and Adam Levine (with Maroon 5), plus Diplo and Lily Rose and Toosii, performed during the May 23rd show. Meanwhile, Lewis Capaldi and Alex Newell took the stage during the May 22nd show. We also saw appearances from Dolly Parton and former Voice Coaches Miley Cyrus, Usher, Pharrell, John Legend, Nick Jonas, Camila Cabello, and Jennifer Hudson.
