Twinning!
Looks like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had an amazing 2022 together.
On New Year's Eve 2022, the country star posted a heartfelt montage on his official Instagram page celebrating his successful year. In the second shot of the video, you can catch a quick glimpse of Shelton and Stefani posing for the camera together, grinning while wearing camouflage suits. How adorable! See the looks here.
Other shots in the montage showed Shelton performing with Stefani, behind the scenes of The Voice (where they both were Coaches for Season 22), and more while his song “Nobody” played in the background.
“Man, 2022 flew by.. we farmed, we made music, we created a clothing line with our friends @LandsEnd, filmed a new TV show @BarmageddonUSA, announced a new tour, hung out with our friends at @olered (and opened another location), took home a #TeamBlake @nbcthevoice win.. and so much more. Thanks for an incredible year y'all!!!!! I can't wait for what's in store for 2023. Cheers everybody!!!” Shelton captioned the post in excitement.
During Christmas 2022, Stefani posted another montage of her and Shelton adorning camouflage getups while they explored the outdoors together. In the video, Stefani followed Shelton around with a camera while they walked in a barn, her song “Christmas Eve” playing in the background. They then shared a kiss, posing with their shadows in the grass. “my ♥️ is so full rn 🫶🏼 merry christmas eve everyone🎄gx,” Stefani wrote in the caption.
Season 23 of The Voice (airing this spring) will be Shelton's last as a Coach. He announced the news of his departure in October 2022.
“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23,” Shelton said in a statement. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people; you are the best."
