See Heidi Klum's Graceful Recovery After Falling During Her Duet w/ Sal Valentinetti
The America's Got Talent Judge sang — and took a graceful tumble — with her Season 11 Golden Buzzer for the holiday season.
America's Got Talent Judge Heidi Klum may be known for her confident catwalk strut, but even the best of us slip up sometimes.
During Season 11 of AGT in 2016, Klum and her Golden Buzzer Act, singer Sal Valentinetti, sang a smokey duet of "Santa Baby" together for the holiday season.
The performance started out with Valentinetti crooning a in rich tone. Then, in a magical moment, Klum descended onstage on a giant candy cane, singing way in a sultry voice while wearing a classy red dress. She and Valentinetti then did a synchronized dance together, as she looked ultra-elegant while he spun her around.
But in a surprise moment, when Valentinetti went to spin her around for a second time, Klum accidentally fell to the floor as the crowd gasped. Check out the unexpected moment here.
Luckily, Klum managed to bounce back quickly, striking a pose and singing from the floor without missing a beat. She's tough as nails, that one!

"Happy holidays 🎅looking back at one of my favorite #AGT moments with my golden buzzer @salthevoice," Klum captioned a throwback post revisiting the performance.
What to know about Sal Valentinetti
Originally from Long Island, Sal Valentinetti, aka "The Voice," blew the Judges away during Season 11 of AGT, when he Auditioned with "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. Klum was so impressed with his velvety voice, that she awarded him her Golden Buzzer of the season.
Valentinetti has certainly made a lasting impression on Klum, as she revealed to NBC Insider in September that he still remains one of her favorite Acts on the show to date.
“I love Sal 'The Voice.' He was one of my Golden Buzzers. I love him. I still see him sometimes when he performs here in California,” she told us.

As for Valentinetti's recent endeavors, he released an EP and two albums, embarked on a tour in 2021, opened for Jay Leno, and played at Madison Square Garden. His 2021 album titled Little Valentine features jazz covers and original tunes, and was made at the same Hollywood studio where Frank Sinatra recorded some of his music.
When it comes to his personal life, he got engaged to his girlfriend, Gianna, in December 2022, and frequently posts on Instagram about his love for her. Valentinetti still keeps in touch with Klum, as he and Gianna attended her Halloween blowout in 2023, both dressed as characters from Austin Powers.
Valentinetti also has hobbies outside of music, as he co-hosts a podcast called Breaking Bread, where he interviews those of the Italian-American community in New York City.
