A family-favorite water park is about to make an even bigger splash with lucky visitors. Guests at Universal Volcano Bay in Orlando, Fla., can experience the fun-filled water-themed paradise like never before when it opens at night for the first time ever.
The brand-new, limited-capacity nighttime event is set for selected Saturdays including April 12, 26 and May 3, 10 and 17 at the lush oasis.
In addition to the water attractions, the special offer enables guests to enjoy live entertainment, meet and greets with DreamWorks characters, and complimentary island treats.

Why Universal Volcano Bay Nights is so special
Universal Orlando Resort’s Volcano Bay is a tropical water world that immerses visitors in a vibrant paradise.
Under a night sky lit by stars, guests can get a whole different look at Waturi culture and Volcano Bay. At the same time, they’ll enjoy lower wait times and exclusive access to splashy water rides and select attractions.
They include the thrilling twists of Krakatau Aqua Coaster, the exhilarating drop of Ko’okiri Body Plunge and the high-speed Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides.
For a break from the thrill action rides, guests can marvel at the park’s 200-foot Krakatau volcano and visit tranquil Waturi Beach, where a live DJ, dancing and nostalgic games like hula hoop and limbo await.
Part of the fun of a getaway is meeting new friends. An illustrious who’s who from DreamWorks Animation films will be on hand including Shrek and Fiona and Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws from Shrek, King Julien and Alex from Madagascar, as well as Poppy, Branch and Guy Diamond from Trolls.
Having a great time can work up an appetite. Complimentary seafood and pasta treats on the beach are tasty snacks. In addition, specialty food and beverage items will be available for purchase.
The exclusive Universal Volcano Bay nighttime event begins at 7 p.m. ET, but guests can arrive at the park as early as 4 p.m. to make the most of the fun.
Guests can boost the Volcano Bay Nights experience by booking a private cabana for the event for an additional price. These cabanas are first-come, first-served on the day of the event.
