Is there a new Chicago P.D. coming on Wednesday, March 27?
Yes! Tonight's episode will air on NBC at 10/9c, and will be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
Season 11, Episode 8 of Chicago P.D. is called "On Paper," and will focus on Upton and new SVU detective, Petrovic.
''Upton brings SVU detective Petrovic back into the fold to help with the investigation of a tender-age kidnapping,'' an official synopsis for the new episode reads.
What to know about Petrovic on Chicago P.D.
We first got introduced to Det. Jo Petrovic (Bojana Novakovic) during last week's episode called ''The Living Dead.'' Voight (Jason Beghe) recruits her talents to help the squad better understand the mindset of a serial killer responsible for an abduction.
In a recent interview with NBC Insider, Beghe talked about why he thinks Petrovic is a vital addition to Season 11 of Chicago P.D.
"I am super enthusiastic and impressed with her. She is a very strong, smart, professional, cool actor/person as far as I can see. I think that both she and Petrovic could be a wonderful kind of addition to Voight and Jason's lives," he told us.

He expressed similar sentiment in an interview with TV Insider. “Petrovic is extremely smart, but she has her own kind of secrets and demons that she’s dealing with. And socially, she’s somewhere a little further along on the spectrum than most, but she has a strong sense of herself and she’s a very astute and useful a member of the team at this point to help us solve the problems, figuring out who this serial killer is. She’s a gifted profiler,” he said.
Chicago P.D. gets renewed for Season 12
In other exciting news, it was confirmed on March 21 that Chicago P.D. will be returning to NBC for a 12th Season. An official 2024 premiere date has not been announced yet, but stay tuned on NBC Insider for more details.
