Kara Killmer Shares a Sweet Photo of the "Girls' Club" on the Chicago Fire Set
It's a girls club, no boys allowed.
How does one apply to join this particular girls club? Because it looks like the best hangout in town.
Kara Killmer, who plays paramedic Sylvie Brett on Chicago Fire, just posted a behind-the-scenes picture from the set of the upcoming season, and it's so clear how much affection she has for her colleagues.
"Sometimes the Ambo is just a girls’ club. It’s a great view. @mrmayo @hanakogreensmith @nbconechicago @wolfentertainment #bts #chicagofire," wrote Killmer under a picture of her co-stars Hanako Greensmith (Violet Mikami) and Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd). "Girls’ club = best club 😤😍," Greensmith commented on the picture, which shows herself cuddling Mayo.
Through the window behind them, you can see another cast or crew member sitting on a fire truck, getting ready to roll. Yep, the gang is back in action!

The Chicago Fire cast behind-the-scenes
Greensmith, Killmer and Mayo are basically an inseparable trio on the Chicago Fire set, and have blessed fans with many a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their trifecta of friendship. On the day they began filming the upcoming season, Killmer shared a picture of herself on Instagram stories embracing her co-stars and writing, "It's happening!"
Mayo also uploaded a Boomerang of herself and Greensmith giving Killmer pecks on the cheek, alongside the celebratory caption: "FIRST DAY BACK I CAN'T STOP SMILING AND SCREAMING."
Season 12 can't come soon enough
Chicago Fire Season 12 premieres Wednesday, January 17 at 9/8c on NBC. Episodes stream next day on Peacock. Fans are anxious to see if, after a brief appearance at the end of Season 11, Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) might return, and pick up where he left off with Brett. "The idea when I left the show was that if it was appropriate and it would work with the storyline they wanted to do, I would be open— and they would be open — to bringing Casey back," Spencer told NBC Insider.
"The storyline [in Season 11, Episode 18] does allude to Casey sort of eyeing whether he could actually move back to 51. Can he potentially, in the future, rekindle his relationship with Brett and start that fire again? We’re gonna have to see. Casey’s looking at it; it’s a potential thing, but we just don’t know right now. We’ll leave that to the future. We’ll throw it to the gods and see what they say."
