Simon Cowell's Son Eric Is His Mini-Me, Taking Charge at the AGT Judging Panel: Pic
The son of the America's Got Talent Judge joined his father onstage.
It looks like Simon Cowell's son is already following in his footsteps.
On March 6, the America's Got Talent Judge shared a sweet snapshot of his 9-year-old son, Eric, standing behind-the-scenes at the AGT Judge's panel. Though you can't see his face, he seems to be channeling his executive producer father and taking charge of the moment — and his dad.
In the picture, Cowell rocks orange sunglasses with his arms stretched open, ready to embrace Eric. In the background, fellow Judge Sofia Vergara gives the biggest grin.
Cowell captioned the photo with a simple heart emoji.

Simon Cowell's son Eric loves the AGT universe
Like his dad, Eric is highly opinionated, especially when it comes to voicing hie eye for talent. In fact, Eric correctly predicted who was going to win AGT Season 18.
"Eric, my son, was at the show last night. And I said to him this morning, 'Who do you think is going to win?' and he said 'Hurricane.' He really, really called it," Cowell told Access Hollywood, referring to the dog coaching Act Hurricane & Adrian Stoica.
"He's just obsessed with this dog. And even during the Auditions, he met her and Adrian, and he's a great guy, and she is just adorable. And I was watching [Eric] as the results came in, and he was just like, jumping in the air. He was so excited," he added.
The 9-year-old also had a cameo with Hurricane & Adrian Stoica during the Season 1 Finale of America's Got Talent: Fantasy League, when the border collie Hurricane adorably licked his face when the act was visiting Cowell's home.

Eric also has plans to be on the other side of the judging panel as well, as Cowell revealed to Entertainment Tonight in August 2023 that the boy plays drums, sings and is planning on auditioning for Britain's Got Talent in the future.
"[He's] decided he's going to audition for Britain's Got Talent," Cowell told the outlet, adding that Eric is a massive Green Day fan.
"That's going to be total torture," he said jokingly. "I mean, of all the things I've ever done, this will probably be the hardest, because he does play drums. [He's] going to drum and sing! I went, 'Oh God, no.'"
"But he's really serious about it," Cowell added. "I don't know what it is. Maybe because all these kids are auditioning and now he wants to be up there with his friends... I think, hopefully, he'll be sitting there in 10 or less years time."
